Anna Turska-Szybka

Anna Turska-Szybka is a specialist in general dentistry and paediatric dentistry. She serves as an associate professor and senior lecturer at the Department of Paediatric Dentistry at the Medical University of Warsaw. She obtained her PhD degree from the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM) in Warsaw, Poland. Her doctoral dissertation was titled “Clinical and laboratory evaluation of resin infiltration of carious lesions on smooth surfaces of primary teeth” and subsequently earned postdoctoral degree from the Medical University of Warsaw. She holds the position of Regional Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the New Dentistry Journal, a member of the Board of the Polish Society of Paediatric Dentistry (PTSD),  member of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD), the Polish Dental Association (PTS). She also serves as a member of the State Examination Board at the Medical Examination Center (CEM) and the Chair of the Program Council for Dental, Behavioral, and Legal-Organizational Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the Medical University of Warsaw. She actively participates in numerous scientific and educational conferences, congresses, and symposia at both national and international levels, where she delivers oral presentations and presents poster sessions. She is the author and co-author of publications in national and international scientific journals and contributed as an author to book chapters and academic textbooks.


Treatment Approaches to Molar Incisor Hypomineralization.

Molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH) constitutes an oral health challenge affecting numerous individuals globally. It is a developmental disorder manifested through various dental enamel anomalies, predominantly in the first permanent molars, but it can also affect the permanent incisors.

This presentation will summarize the available treatments for MIH, to provide a clear and up-to-date overview and discuss the most appropriate therapeutic approach, considering both treatment efficacy and the patient’s experience.
