HOW TO GET TO THE CONFERENCE SITE
From the airport to the hotel Sheraton Zagreb
Visitors arriving at Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport have several convenient transportation options to reach the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel. A taxi ride typically takes about 20–30 minutes and costs around €30–40.
For a convenient public transport option, guests can take the airport shuttle bus to Zagreb Main Bus Station (Autobusni kolodvor), which operates regularly and takes approximately 35–40 minutes. From there, the hotel can be reached by tram line 6 in just a few stops.
Car hire and private transfer services are also available for a more comfortable and direct journey. Public transportation in Zagreb is reliable and well connected, providing easy access to the hotel from the airport.
Zagreb’s connections to major European cities
Zagreb is well connected to many major European cities through an extensive network of trains and buses. The Zagreb central train station links Croatia’s capital directly to European capitals such as Vienna, Munich, Budapest, Ljubljana, Berlin, and more, making train travel a convenient option for visitors coming from neighboring countries. The city’s main bus station also offers frequent domestic and international routes to key cities including Berlin, Milan, Zurich, and Florence. Moreover, Zagreb’s position as a transport hub is reinforced by its well-developed highway system, providing easy access by car from various parts of Europe. This extensive connectivity makes Zagreb a strategic and accessible location for conference attendees traveling from across Europe.
